M6
(Timber Frame Clock) Completed
Fall 2008. It's made with Sapele with Holly details. This
is the second in a series of smaller clocks - 35% smaller than the
previous clocks (M2-M4). It was created for a timber frame
manufacturer in Memphis, Tennesee. This clock will rest on a board
room table and has a lower profile with shortened legs on the stand.
The weights are falling from the very top of the clock frame to
maximize run time. The photo below shows the 90% completed clock. The
stand shown is a temporary rack. To see a photo album

M4 (The Timber Frame) Completed
December 2007. It's made with Red Cedar, Walnut, Cherry and
holly. The clock hands are cut from remnants of the original teak
wood deck from the WWII Battleship USS WISCONSIN (BB 64). The
weights were originally of stones harvested at the shore of Lake
Ontario at Sodus
Point, NY. This clock was designed by the owner to fit the interior
decor of his beautiful, upscale timberframe home. The clock's owner (Mr. Dan Cooney) is also
a principal at Hardwood Clocks. To see a photo album
