Clock Gallery

M6 (Timber Frame Clock) Completed Fall 2008. It's made with Sapele with Holly details. This is the second in a series of smaller clocks - 35% smaller than the previous clocks (M2-M4).  It was created for a timber frame manufacturer in Memphis, Tennesee.  This clock will rest on a board room table and has a lower profile with shortened legs on the stand. The weights are falling from the very top of the clock frame to maximize run time. The photo below shows the 90% completed clock. The stand shown is a temporary rack. M6 Clock

M5 (Contemporary Clock) Completed Summer 2008. It's Maple, Ebonized Poplar and Gabon Ebony details. This is the first in a series of smaller clocks - 35% smaller than the previous clocks (M2-M4).  The pendulum weight is cut leaded crystal.  This clock is owned by a Jewler in Chester Springs , PA.  To see a photo album of this clock click on the picture directly below. M5 Clock

M4 (The Timber Frame) Completed December 2007. It's made with Red Cedar, Walnut, Cherry and holly.  The clock hands are cut from remnants of the original teak wood deck from the WWII Battleship USS WISCONSIN (BB 64).  The weights were originally of stones harvested at the shore of Lake Ontario at Sodus Point, NY. This clock was designed by the owner to fit the interior decor of his beautiful, upscale timberframe home. The clock's owner (Mr. Dan Cooney) is also a principal at Hardwood Clocks. M3 (Arts & Craft) (completed in August 2007)

M3 Series Clock.  African Mahogany frame with Bass and Mahogany gears and Holly details.

M2 (Indy) (completed in Spring 2007)

M2 Series Clock. Multiple hardwoods were used to determine their suitability for gear making. Birdseye Maple, Koa, Holly, White Oak, Swiss Pear, Birch, Poplar, Gumwood, Walnut. The weights are figured rocks from the shore of Lake Ontario at Sodus Point, NY.
